Fully Funded Research Scholarship Grants at Swansea University in the UK 2022

Swansea University is now accepting graduate applications for psychology research studies! UKRI Frontier Research grants are available for the 2022/23 academic year.

This grant will be available to exceptional applicants with great academic records starting in October 2022.

About:

Since the UK is not a member of Horizon Europe, TRUE was originally selected for funding by the European Research Council (Starting Grant no. 101040463). TRUE will develop the first systematic account of trust in user-generated evidence (such as photos and videos captured by witnesses on their mobile phones) in human rights accountability processes through an innovative interdisciplinary methodology combining legal analysis of trials, large online experiments, and mock jury trials.

Selection Criteria

Graduates must have 2.1 undergraduate degrees and master’s degrees. If you have a first class honours degree but no master’s degree (as defined by Swansea University), you can apply on an individual basis. As a minimum, IELTS 6.5 (with no individual component below 6.5) or Swansea recognized equivalent. The Swansea University English Language entry policy can be found here.

Scholarships are open to all nationalities.

Become a scholar

Applicants will receive a stipend of £16,062 (UKRI rate) in addition to tuition fees.

Expenses for additional research will be covered.

  • An essay or excerpt from a dissertation
  • Cover letter outlining suitability

  • References (from professors or employers) on Swansea University’s reference form. References received via private email accounts, such as Hotmail, cannot be accepted. Referees should cite their employment email address for verification of reference.
  • Evidence of meeting English Language requirement (if applicable).
  • Copy of UK resident visa (if applicable).
