The DAAD Helmut-Schmidt-Programme Masters Scholarships for Public Policy and Good Governance Programme offers very good graduates from developing countries the chance to obtain a Master’s degree in disciplines that are of special relevance for the social, political and economic development of their home country at German institutions of higher education.
The scholarship scheme is open to candidates from Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa; Latin America; Asia and the Pacific, Western, Central, South-Eastern Europe; Eastern Europe, Central Asia & South Caucasus; and the Middle East and North Africa
Period: Application starts from 1 June – 31 July 2021.
DRD Scholarships for Sub-Saharan Africans
Description: Masters/PhD Degree

The DRD offers a limited number of DAAD merit scholarships per year for applicants from Sub-Saharan African countries with an excellent academic record, to pursue development-related Masters and PhD studies.
The scholarships are intended for nationals of Sub-saharan African countries.

DAAD Scholarships in Germany for Development-Related Postgraduate Courses

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) scholarships offer foreign graduates from development and newly industrialized countries from all disciplines and with at least two years’ professional experience the chance to take a postgraduate or Master’s degree at a state or state-recognized German university, and in exceptional cases to take a doctoral degree, and to obtain a university qualification (Master’s/PhD) in Germany.
Graduates with at least two years’ professional experience from the following countries.
Deadline: Deadline varies depending on the course but falls within August and October 2021.

The Deutschlandstipendium at German Universities
Description: Bachelors/Masters Degree
