LASU Academic Calendar for Freshmen, 2021/2022 Session Is Out (1st Semester)

This is to inform all LASU students that the institution’s Senate has approved the proposed Academic Calendar for the first semester of the 2020/2021 Academic Session.

Academic Calendar for LASU Freshmen  2021/2022

Senate received and evaluated a Paper Ref No: LASU/SEN/ST.275/021/011 submitted by the Chairman Committee of Provost, Deans, and Directors at its 275th Statutory Meeting on Thursday, June 24, 2021.

The proposed Academic Calendar for the 2021/2022 Academic Session has been included in the article, as shown below.

FIRST SEMESTER OF HARMATTAN

LASU Academic calendar:

Monday, July 19th, 2021 to Friday, July 30th, 2021 – Resumption and Registration of New Students (100 Level) (2 Week)

Monday, August 2nd, 2021 to Friday, October 2nd, 2021: Resumption and Lectures for 100-level to 500-level students (12 Weeks)

Monday, October 25th, 2021 – Friday, October 29th, 2021 (revision) (1 Week)

Monday, November 1st, 2021 to Friday, November 26th, 2021 (4 Weeks)

Results grading and uploading: Monday, November 29th, 2021 to Friday, December 10th, 2021 (2 Weeks)

Consideration by departments and faculties, uploading of revisions, and ICT processing of results: Monday, December 13th, 2021 to Friday, December 17th, 2021.

The Senate will meet on Thursday, December 23rd, 2021, to consider the results (1Day)

End-of-Semester Break: Monday, December 27th, 2021 – Friday, January 14th, 2022 ( 3 Weeks)
