Description: Destination Australia Scholarships
The goal of the Destination Australia Program is to encourage foreign and domestic students to study in regional Australia, as well as to promote and develop regional Australian tertiary providers and provide students with a high-quality learning experience. The University of Tasmania is pleased to participate in the Destination Australia Scholarship Program as a provider and welcomes students to study at Australia’s fourth oldest university.

Eligibility
- You must be commencing studies at the University for the first time and be studying on a valid student visa.
- You must have high school certificates with a good academic record
International students starting a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree at the University of Tasmania in Hobart, Launceston, or Cradle Coast in 2021 are eligible. Students must be beginning their studies at the University for the first time and studying on a valid student visa to be eligible. Academic merit and the quality of the written application will be used to make the final decision.
To retain this award, recipients are required to achieve a Credit (5.0/7.0) cumulative grade point average (CGPA) at the end of each semester.
Recipients must also remain enrolled at the campus in which they have been offered the scholarship to study (at least 75% of all studies must be undertaken on campus), and maintain a valid Student Visa for the duration of the scholarship.

Application Process for University of Tasmania Scholarships
