Scholars who need financial assistance to begin postgraduate research and are academically inclined can apply for the scholarship grants.

Criteria that must be met:

  • Whether you’re an international or domestic student
  • Obtain a full-time PhD offer at the Faculty of Science or have an unconditional offer of admission
  • Astrophysics research is something that you should be willing to do

Benefits of entry:

Astroseismology students can receive stipend scholarship funding of up to $35,950. For a period of three years, the scholarship will provide a stipend comparable to that of the Sydney Research Training Program (RTP) Stipend (indexed annually on 1 January).

Applicant’s Method

The university has established an application portal through which students can apply for admission. The application form must be filled out online after you have registered.

In order to graduate from the university, students need to submit the following papers:

  • Merit in the classroom,
  • Research proposal and/or area of study
  • An overview of your curriculum vitae,
  • Experience with research.
  • Diplomas and transcripts

Requirements for Admission:

  • Honors degrees or master’s degrees in related fields with a strong research component are required.
  • Applicants who do not speak English as their first language must prove their proficiency before starting their studies.
